This DialogsEXE component makes some of the Windows operating system's objects and procedures available for scripting; do not expect the limitations / anomalies / weird behavior of these objects or procedures to be fixed by the DialogsEXE component!
If such object or procedure is affected by a certain particular problem, then that object or procedure will continue to be affected by that problem, even after having been made available by way of the DialogsEXE component.
The Object-related functions (E.G.: CheckObject, ComboObject, etc.) should be used carefully; not all their properties or methods can be used freely (E.G.: see the StdPicture / IPictureDisp-related properties / methods).
The StdPicture / IPictureDisp COM objects, used as arguments or return values, in out-of-process (OOP) components, generate catastrophic failures (this is the design chosen by Microsoft).
Use an array of bytes as a substitute for these objects (see the DB-related demos, the GetPictureCtrl, SetPictureCtrl, GetImageCtrl, SetImageCtrl, BlobToArray methods, etc.).
Syntax errors and runtime errors, in client code, may generate error entries in the Windows Application Log. If you don't want this to happen then make sure to fix the syntax errors and handle all the runtime errors.
Referencing missing third-party libraries, in client code, may generate error entries in the Windows Application Log.
Be sure to provide all the libraries whose functionality you intend to use in your code.
The DialogsEXE ActiveX component (DialogsEXE.exe), because it uses an encryption technique for the licensing (registration) process, might trigger false positives in some particular, overzealous, poorly designed antivirus programs.
The client could just study and adjust the antivirus program's available settings, in order to find a good balance between security and dysfunctional lockdown.
There is no spyware, adware, malware or other kind of "ware" implemented in the DialogsEXE component.
